I'm Tania Gomes, a graphic and layout designer with over 10 years of experience, including 7 focused on the board game and tabletop RPG industry. My work connects functionality and imagination — whether I'm designing cards, books, or rulebooks, I aim to create layouts that are both beautiful and intuitive to use.
With a background in sculpture and a lifelong love of fantasy, sci-fi and storytelling, I naturally gravitated toward design roles that blend structure with creativity. Over the years, I've taken part in a wide variety of projects — from one-off indie games to long-format, multi-component titles — and have grown particularly skilled at navigating the details of print preparation, game-specific visual systems, and long-term production timelines.
Clients often come to me for my ability to handle complex projects with care, clarity, and consistency. I value clear communication, thoughtful problem-solving, and designs that truly serve the people who use them.
I’m also autistic and ADHD — things that have shaped the way I approach systems, aesthetics, and creative thinking. It means I bring deep focus, pattern recognition, and a passion for meaningful design to everything I do.
Outside of work, I’m a worldbuilding lover, mapmaker, and fantasy enthusiast. I enjoy puzzles, games, storytelling in all its forms, and find inspiration in nature, movement, and music. These things keep my creativity fueled — and often sneak into my projects in one way or another.
